Pandora’s practice combines a mixture of strange things that are loosely connected by messy colour pallets and worn threads. The theme of childhood and nostalgia is important in her practice and is explored through a child-like perspective or dissonance. The inclusion of miniatures and physical objects interest Pandora such as dolls, small objects or structures – items that might be interacted with like a keepsake or toy.
She uses both digital and traditional methods including digital drawing and etching and enjoys making short comics and keeping sketchbooks. She is attracted to the combination of drawing and photography and enjoys how combining these mediums can develop something new. Placing made imaginary into real spaces and observing them move through animation is something Pandora hopes to develop in the near future.
